From signature to system of record
A signed document isn't the end of a government workflow. It's the middle. Once a resident signs a license application or a provider signs an attestation, somebody still has to get that document, and the data captured with it, into the system that actually runs the program.

Two companies, two halves of the same problem
cloudPWR has built software for the public sector since 2011. The company is based in Post Falls, Idaho, holds SOC 2 Type II certification, is a GovRAMP member, and carries Washington State OCIO approval along with a HIPAA-oriented posture for regulated workloads. Its products run real programs, including the South Dakota Medical Cannabis Registry.
airSlate SignNow is an electronic signature platform used by organizations of every size to send, sign, and manage legally binding agreements. It's HIPAA compliant, SOC 2 Type II certified, and 21 CFR Part 11 aligned, and it's known for a pricing model that doesn't charge per user. For a lot of agencies, that last detail is the reason SignNow is in the building at all.

What shipped
AIRLIFT Connect is cloudPWR's governed integration platform for public agencies. It moves documents and data through four visible stages: capture, transform, deliver, and observe. SignNow support is implemented as a Connect source, which means it isn't a bolt-on or a one-off script. It plugs into the same pipeline engine as every other source.
The practical consequence is that SignNow inherits everything Connect already does. Completed documents and the form field data submitted alongside them are captured together, then delivered wherever the agency needs them.
Where the documents can go
A completed SignNow document can be delivered to any destination Connect supports:
- Box, for teams that already own and audit their own folders
- FTP and SFTP, for on-premises systems and processors that expect a file drop
- Outbound web services, for line-of-business and registry systems
- Document Imaging import packaging, when the receiving processor needs an ordered document set with a manifest
That covers both sides of the split most agencies actually live with, where some systems are cloud services and others are still running in a rack somewhere. The same pipeline handles both.
What this looks like in practice
Consider a licensing program that collects renewal applications. An applicant completes and signs the renewal packet in SignNow. That's the last manual step.
Connect picks up the completed document set as soon as it's finished, along with the field values the applicant filled in. If the records team's processor expects a specific file layout, Connect assembles it during the transform stage. The packet then lands in the Box folder the licensing team already owns, while the structured field data goes to the registry system through an outbound web service call.
Nobody downloaded a PDF. Nobody renamed a file or retyped a license number. If the registry call fails because the downstream system is down for maintenance, that delivery is flagged and retryable on its own, and the Box delivery still completed. Staff see the state of every import on one screen.
Auditable by default
Every SignNow import is tracked through queued, downloading, transforming, delivering, and completed states. When something stalls, staff can see which stage it stalled at without opening a support ticket or reading raw logs. Delivery failures are isolated and retryable, so one bad handoff to one destination doesn't halt the rest of the work.
Access follows the same rules as the rest of Connect. Operators can monitor imports and resolve problems without holding permission to change pipeline configuration or view stored connection credentials. Configuration changes stay traceable for review against an agency's own audit obligations. For teams handling protected health information or other regulated records, that separation between doing the work and changing the plumbing is usually a requirement, not a preference.
Operators can see exactly where an import stopped without being handed the keys to the integration.
Available today
SignNow support is generally available today and running in production. Agencies and organizations already collecting signatures in SignNow can add it as a source in Connect and start routing completed documents and form data to the systems that need them.
